BWF's Tunnel to Towers Fundraiser

Next Sunday, September 25th, Benefits with Friends is participating in the 10th annual Tunnel to Towers 5K Race. The race is in memory of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller. BWF is doing two things to support this:

• Our first ever fundraiser (donate here). Currently have $2400 (including corporate matching)
• Another "Night Out with Friends" benefit the night before to raise awareness/money

In 2001, Stephen was on his way home from his Red Hook, Brooklyn firehouse when he got a phone call that something happened at the World Trade Center and his house was heading down there to assist. Stephen immediately turned around, went back to his firehouse, and finding his housemates gone, strapped on his full gear and ran through the Battery Tunnel to do what he could. In growing BWF tradition, we're also hosting a benefit. Get ready for some drinks with some good people, and just as importantly, a FREE GIVEAWAY. Did I mention there's a FREE GIVEAWAY if you attend? Just checking... Details of the benefit are as follows:

• Where: Downtown Galway Hooker
• When: Saturday, September 24th from 8-10PM
• What: 2 Hour Open Bar, includes beer, wine, liquor (Stoli, Tanqueray, Jack, etc.)
• Cost: $40

Proceeds from this event are going to the Stephen Siller Foundation.  The event is being held earlier so those who need to rest for the race the next day, can. We look forward to seeing you there.
